What is distance healing and how does it work?

A distance healing is a healing that is practiced when the recipient is not physically present. It works in a similar way to being in the presence of the healer. Distance healing allows the recipient to benefit from the healing process even if they are unable to be present due to distance, illness or lockdown restrictions due to Covid19. Two of the most common distant healing practices are offering prayers for those who are ill and using forms of meditation where the practitioner holds a compassionate intention to relieve the suffering of another.
 
Healers have recognised for centuries what modern astro-physicists and quantum scientists have only recently become aware of: The world as we know it is an illusion. We are all made of energy, vibrating at different frequencies, designating different manifestations of life. For those people who are able to intuitively work with energy, or to learn the processes involved, healing is a matter of transferring and balancing that energy. Working not the physical form, but with pure energy means that the healer can operate outside of the normal limitations of time and space. This allows the healer to send therapy to a person or energy pattern that is physically distant from them, or not even in the world that we know. Healing energy is often termed “sub-atomic” and/or “cosmic”, but what this means essentially is that any manifestation of life energy, including the seemingly inanimate, such as rocks and plant life, through to concepts and situations that we have invested our energy into, can all benefit from healing therapy.

How does VortexHealing® work?

VortexHealing® derives its name from a particular Divine energy vortex that is brought into manifestation in the heart and becomes a vehicle for Divine presence to manifest healing, transformation and spiritual growth. We call this Divine presence 'Merlin'.
 
The deep connection to this Divine presence is what makes VortexHealing so unique, for this Divine presence deeply ‘bridges’ both Divine Vortex energies and its own Divine consciousness into the recipient, and guides their movement to optimize healing. This is critical, because conditioning of our issues is based on the consciousness of separateness, of ego. So it cannot simply be released, it must be transformed back into freedom, back into the wholeness from which it came. But only that which is free of ego – only deeply bridged Divine energy and Divine consciousness – can do that. And these are the healing tools of VortexHealing.
 
VortexHealing® is not something we created but comes to us as a gift of the Divine Presence within the Merlin lineage. And the intention of that Divine Presence is to heal us, transform us, and open us to the inner freedom of our true being.

How do I know if VortexHealing® is for me?

I offer a 15 minute free phone consultation during which we can take a look at your situation or issue and determine how the healings could be helpful. As with a lot of new things you won't know until you try it! And you don't have to believe in it for it to work.

VortexHealing® can be used for any physical ailments, emotional and mental issues, relationship problems and for all life situations i.e. abuse situations, grief, loss, obstacles to finding work, driving test, nervousness, just to give a few examples.

How often does the VortexHealing® Group Meditation take place?

It takes place at 11am every Saturday unless otherwise advertised. During lockdown a link will be sent to every participant through email so they have access to the Zoom Meeting. Just click on the link in the email and follow the instructions.

I never meditated before, can I still take part and what do I do?"

Absolutely. Meditation is for everyone. Beginners and "advanced". All you need to do is make sure you are comfortable. You can be seated if you wish. Just make sure you are in a warm, calm and quiet setting. Just try and have your spine straight. And meditiation is about doing nothing! Just relax. Some of the meditation will be guided. The rest is just awareness. Every week I will be concentrating on different healing aspects.

How often should I receive a massage?

For those who use massage as preventative care or to manage daily stress, one massage a month is common. Weekly sessions may be desirable if you are receiving massage for injury relief or to relieve chronic tightness that is interfering with your daily life. There are many people who incorporate massage therapy at least twice a month for optimal therapeutic relief.

Will I be covered during a massage session?

Accepted Answer

You will be properly covered or draped at all times to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area being worked on will be exposed. No areas will be exposed without your consent. You should always let your therapist know if you are uncomfortable for any reason during your massage session.

Question 9

What should I wear for a reflexology session?

Accepted Answer

Wear comfortable clothing to your reflexology session.
You will be lying on a reclining couch so you will want to feel relaxed. 
Blankets will be provided to cover you during the treatment if you prefer.
During the reflexology session itself, only your feet and ankles will be exposed.
